When I decided to contact Majestic for help on my A/C, I made two assumptions: 1. The tech that would show-up would be... a problem-solver, and 2. The Warranty would be a viable construct.Both were incorrect. The tech indicated I had a freon leak which he never found. He then filled the unit up with freon, charged me, and suggested we do it again in two weeks. The Warranty which turned out to be an illusion helped me in no way during the process. I stumbled upon Majestic A/C because of a similarly named business. After reaching out to Majestic they sent David... Weems out the next day. David was the consumate professional. Their pricing was fair so we agreed to doing the installation within a couple of days. David showed up on time, with Wade as the lead installer. Wade and his team worked quickly and quietly. Brian was very knowledgeable and personable. He provided different options for us to decide on. Our home was builted in the 60s and the unit was about 45yrs old. Needless to say the unit was far from being energy efficient.The installation team was amazing and very quick. Juan and his Crew were the best!They installed the new unit and changed ductsInstalled our new thermostat and explained the best operating temperature for our home and unit. They charge $100lb for Freon and I got it from another local company for $60 to get us by until the repair this week. This other company was also honest about only needing an evaporator coil.read more

The Service Technicians are friendly and efficient. They explain all they are doing and provide pictures. We had a mold... problem in a vent that was hard to access and Majestic worked to figure out how they could help solve it. They sent out Technicians who troubleshooted the issue and implemented preventive measures, including making adjustments to the vent that was very hard to reach in our attic.The dispatch staff is also friendly and very helpful. They answer the phone right away for appointments and call to alert when the Technician is soon to arrive. They also send a text profile of who will be coming. I recommend Majestic for all your air conditioning and furnace needs!read more

Quick and great customer service. I had a slightly tricky set up with a 24 year old AC. Got my quote Monday and was... fully installed on Friday. They were all amazing and the installation was super quick. No one is happy about paying for a new system they are really expensive but this was hands down worth every penny. My system was failing I didn't have time to get quotes but I did talk to a couple people after and it sounded right in line with others cost so I feel the price was extremely fair. I depended on reviews and let me say they have earned their reputation and I appreciate how quickly and painlessly they pulled through for me. Would highly recommend.read more

Frank the technician is top notch. He found my air scrubber was out and replaced it with a new internal cell / uv bulb.... He replaced my airfilter in the attic unit as well. Hopefully my wife's allergies will be better now. This company has installed 3 different units for me and they were high efficiency Trane and Mitsubishi. My electric bill dropped 100 dollars the next month after the whole house Trane installation. I have only used them for maintenance and service on all 3 units because of the caliber of this company, especially their employees. Best I have ever used in my life.. and I am 69 years old, so have tried a few others before finding this great company. Also, Debbie, in the office, is One-Of-A-Kind person. Very Rare to find such good people nowadays.Update 02-01-2024. Matthew came to my home and cleaned one of my Mitsubishi mini-split a/c systems. He bagged it, to catch all the dirt and mold he flushed out of it. No splatter, no mess. He even wiped all surfaces down afterwards. Next, he replaced my 4 inch thick filter in the attic unit and checked it for proper operation ( Heat ). He also checked the air scrubber unit I had them install a couple of years ago, for proper operation. They had replaced the internal lamp last year. After closing the attic access, he asked for a VACUUM CLEANER. I thought he was going to use it on the upstairs unit for something.....NOO !..... He began vacuuming the area under the attic access. I joked with him, saying, I got an A/C Repairman and a wife in one....NEVER HAVE I HAD SUCH THOROUGH SERVICE...P.S. He told me he treats it like its his house... He acts.....No,.... HE IS FAMILY.... Awesome company, that just keeps getting better and better, Unlike the rest of the world.read more

When selecting Majestic Air Conditioning, I found them to be the lesser of several evils in terms of pricing. The... salesperson and office staff were professional and courteous. I was told that the blower motor needed to be replaced, however because of the quoted price and the unit being out of warranty, it was recommended to replace the entire furnace. I thought about it for a couple of days and decided on the furnace replacement.On the morning of the replacement, the salesperson accompanied and introduced the installers. I signed credit card paperwork and they began the installation process. About 30 minutes in, I went to check on the progress and to let them know where I wanted them to put the old unit. When I asked where my unit was, the installer mumbled something in Spanish and looked surprised that I asked. He then spoke in English and said it was already on the truck to be “trashed”. I asked why and he provided a laundry list of things that were wrong with the unit. None of these issues had been previously diagnosed by any other company or Majestic. This has NOT sat right with me.No company should assume they have the right to take anything from a homeowner’s house without checking with them first and getting permission. I feel that with the exception of the blower motor (Note: I do not think the blower motor was the issue. I think it was as simple as cleaning the sensor pin), a fully functional furnace was taken from my home. In my opinion, there is no way that unit was trashed, refurbished, yes. I want it back.read more

Phenomenal service. I hired them for a tune-up/check-up on my HVAC system. They gave me a 4 hour window when I... called, then called me the day of the service at the start of the window to give me an update on exactly when the technician would arrive. They sent me an email and text in advance with a photo and bio of the technician. The technician arrived on-time and was friendly and professional. After the service, he reviewed everything with me and and offered information on prepaying for future inspections at a discounted rate, but didn't push the sale. Before he departed, he sent me an email that covered everything that was inspected and include multiple photos to prove that work was done / items were checked.read more

Had a new system installed. David came out for a free in home quote and provided a lot of options that fit our budget.... Two days later, crew was at the house at 7am ready to work. Communication was exceptional and the install team was finished in a few hours. The crew was very transparent with the install and informative. After the install, we waited two days for the system to run and then David came back out to the house to ensure the entire home was balanced.The entire process was extremely smooth and our new Trane system works night and day better than our original.Maintenance technician was contacted and came out to the house to calibrate the thermostat and double check installation. He could have just cut corners and “fixed” it back to how it originally was but he was proactive and took the time to correct it as it should have. This company is good depending on who they send out. If you're lucky enough to get Javier, I give them 5 stars. We... had a bad experience with one of the techs who, as it turned out, didn't do a complete job and then sent us an invoice stating that he monitored the problem after he "fixed" it for 15 minutes--but my camera recorded his arrival and departure for a total of 22 minutes, then I have to subtract the 3 minutes he went out to his van and the 10 minutes he spent talking to me and my son. Anyway, he did NOT have time to monitor the system for even 2 minutes! BUT, Javier came (I personally requested him) when I reported that we still had the problem, was very courteous and extremely knowledgeable and the best in customer service. He explained everything he did and was very personable. He actually took the panel off and showed my son where the problem was (the other tech never took the panel off). He really represents Majestic AC very well -- please keep him around and take good care of him! As far as the company is concerned, I've used them for my A/C and heater and have a maintenance contract. On the whole, they are very good and I'm very pleased with them and their procedures. They always send a text telling you when the tech leaves the office and when to expect him as well as a picture. Then you get a copy of the invoice via email. I would highly recommend them . . . but always ask for Javier!!read more

Currently dealing with Majestic for my mother in law. They installed the system 10 years ago in her new home and has... been servicing since. It looks like there’s an issue with the TXV and have said they need to replace. However in this heat, with her and her husband being 74 and 77, they don’t seem to want to fix It after hours, but schedule out a few days. After they came out to turn the system on and with a cooler night it was able to get to 78. It can’t keep up though and might freeze again. Her Chemo treatments requires it to be much cooler. Hoping they step up soon and correct the issue that is still under warranty.read more

After AC went on the fritz, I called Majestic and they came quickly. The office kept us in the loop about the time... frame they gave us. Frank Schmidt was the technician that rang the doorbell. Majestic installed a Mitsubishi mini-split system for my garage shop. Quoted what I needed and was inline with... expectations. David told me about some options, but did not sneak in any up sell features. At this time, a lot of shops have to quote what they have on hand so I was lucky Majestic had the system I needed.Again lucky on scheduling the install. I did not have to wait long once I had the electrical work completed. Installation tech were prompt and made short work of the installation. They made sure I had the basics down for the system operation and answered my questions.Would recommend them to others based on my own experience. And I realize not all installations go so smoothly. Initial 5-star review from 2018-2019:It's the second time they have come to perform my checkup and the technicians... have been very professional and direct to the point, not wasting their time or mine. I get a full inspection and a professional assessment. Highly recommended and reasonable prices. Will continue doing business with them.*******************Updated on 2/2/2021:Unfortunately I cannot continue doing business with Majestic. Last year I prepaid for the 2 maintenances. Both times, the technicians were unable to perform the check on the compressor unit outside due to inclement weather. Both times they said that as soon as they got to the office the would schedule the follow-up appointment. In both occasions I was never contacted.And now they keep emailing me every month or so to renew my contract. I have replied to them that don't want their services anymore.Sad to let them go but a few times (not only last year) they did not complete the full maintenance and I shouldn't be chasing them around. But as with most business, they just take your money upfront and don't deliver on their promises!Keeping them at 2 stars due to friendly staff. Unless I get a follow up to my last email and fulfill their promise, I won't be requiring their services anymore.read more

I requested an estimate from 5 contractors to replace my 20 year old AC system and Majestic came out with the most... competitive pricing. Brian showed me the best options for my home upfront and gave the best prices plus the add ons I opted for. The techs were very professional and really know their craft. They had my system installed in about 6 hours considering I have a very tight attic. After the install and test run, they showed me how the system works and how to navigate the smart thermostat. They cleaned up and left the place nice and tidy. Brian dropped by later that day to check and inspect the work done and see to it that all my questions and concerns has been addressed. It has only been 2 days since the install and so far so good. How it will perform during the peak of the summer remains to be seen. My technician was Daniel Sherman. We had ac fail and where surprised to know that Majestic ac had 24 hr service. I was... happy with how quick the technician returned my call, and how soon he came out. I have an infant and I was stressed about ac not working because of how hot its been outside. He arrived and immediately worked and soon after got to the root of the problem. My husband was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and great personality. A/C stopped working after 6:00 pm at night. Temperature was 85 degrees inside the house. A call to Majestic Air and... Kyle came to the house after completing two other calls. He very quite pleasant, went right to work, he explained everything and immediately resolved the issue. Majestic Air replaced my old HVAC with a new system. They measured rooms and determined I needed 2 additional return... vents and they replaced some ducts as part of the new system. They were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. There are only 2 companies that I recommend without reservation and Majestic Air is one of them. I needed to get my AC serviced before the summer and found Majestic online. I read some reviews and decided to give... them a chance. The technician they sent out (Dan) was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained what he was doing and gave me some basic but valuable pointers on maintaining my system. He recommended some improvements (different airfilters and floating switch for my drain pan) at a very fair price and didn’t push. I got the quote by email within one hour. If I was interested I was free to reach out to them. They take pictures of the unit and put all the data in their system as a reference point for future maintenance. Debby, who helps to schedule the appointments, was extremely friendly and helpful too. I am so glad I found this company. Our units was installed 10/2019. We search out 10 companies for two years and this company topped the very BEST of all.... The salesman was very polite and professional. Explained details of the air conditioner and heating unit that was going to be installed in our home. To be honest we had a small situation with the first installer crew. I bought a whole new two stage AC system from Majestic AC. Since Im not born and raised in the USA, this was all kinda... new to me. Alan Morrow guided me through all aspects of such a system, did the necessary measurements and explained me all details to help me make the best decision, and what a professional he is. He quickly followed up and gave me different quotes i requested. He helped me with technical advise how i could prepare the best to get ready for installation. They showed high flexibility, since i had special requests on moving the unit in the attic to free up storage space and to move the unit outside away from the house so i can later put a sidewalk in between. The installation team explained me how they would handle all of this and showed great professionalism installing everything.Alan also visited on the day of the installation, making sure everything was going as planned. I really appreciated this!Later after the team finished up and explained me on how to operate the thermostat, Alan gave me a call to swiftly guide me through the steps to have the thermostat connected to the internet and to install the app on my phone to be able to control it from anywhere. Overall, I would choose Majestic again, but I can’t give a wholehearted recommendation to family and friends. There... were some issues during and immediately after installation along with a vent pipe leak due to the pipe not being adequately sealed during installation. All issues were resolved timely and to my expectations, but being without AC on the same day of install for several hours in the summer as well as frantically having to dry water in the attic and on top of/in the new furnace (albeit during a rare storm, Imelda) were experiences that I wouldn’t want family to go through. Yes, things don’t go perfectly smooth during any sort of work, but checking for a c-wire and ensuring a vent pipe is properly sealed should be standard checks. The owner reached out to me after the installation problems, which was great and the tech, Vidal, and roof guys were all excellent.read more

Javier was our technician today, he was early, very knowledgeable and polite. It only took him fifteen minutes to... correct our Heating problem. It seems that a previous Contractor had disconnected the wiring at the unit. In that case Majestic corrected our A/C problems left from a bad Contractor.So once again Majestic saved us again with same day service. Can’t recommend them enough. My old TRANE AC system finally died after 29 years so I was in the market to replace it with a new, higher efficiency... TRANE XR16 4 ton Air Conditioner. Majestic AC came highly recommended by a close friend. The salesman was great, very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions onsite and even over text and email the next day or two after his initial visit. Their price on the system beat my next closest bid by almost 35% ($4,000) and was exactly 1/2 the price of my highest bid, (which just goes to show you that you need to get several bids and make sure Majestic is one of them). They scheduled me for an install 48 hours after the salesman left, and the installer did a truly professional job both in the attic and the outside the house. I did have one small issue with a thermostat that quit working a few hours after the installers left around 6pm that evening, but they had a tech onsite with replacement parts by 9am the next morning and addressed all the issues. As great as their prices are, their service is even better and everybody in the company I have dealt with has been truly professional and ready to help. If you live in the Greater Houston Area, I highly recommend Majestic AC for new system sales or ongoing service and maintenance of your Air Conditioning System.read more

When the tech was on his way I received a text with his picture and bio and a link to track his progress. We received 3 quotes from 3 different companies for 3 different AC/Furnace installations (full AC swap) and Majestic... offered competitive pricing for one of the top brands (Trane) available to residential consumers. Prior to and after installation Dustin was very communicative and responsive to questions/concerns. The men arrived on site Friday morning at 9AM and the job was completed by around 2:30-3PM. they removed my old AC/Furnace and installed the other with little to no mess and were very considerate of the walls and floors. During the installation Dustin remained my point of contact for any questions/concerns and upon completion of the system he arrived to provide a tutorial of the new system. Later that night I noticed one of the areas within one of the zones was flip flopped. An area downstairs was being controlled by the thermostat upstairs and vice versa. I notified Dustin right away and by the next day (Saturday) I had an on-call tech out to investigate the issue. within 30 minutes he had the problem fixed and the system was running as it should. He was very polite and prompt. So far I am thoroughly impressed, but only time will tell . For now I stand firm on 5 stars and will update this review accordingly as I utilize them for bi annual maintenance and any concerns moving forward with the system. As far as customer service and quality of work go, I can say CS is top notch and I will let you judge the work yourself as I am adding pics of the completed install.EDIT (7/11/19): experiencing issues with the system. Lowering my review to 3 stars until issues are resolved. Spent weeks emailing someone who apparently no longer works for the company but the email Account still works. Comms have been kept up but I do not detect a sense of urgency at this point. I'm having to contact Debbie twice and call for answers. Tech arrived today stating the system has been repaired and the installers wired the thermostats wrong and configured the system zoning incorrectly. I have invoices to prove this. Tech did not fix the issue yet. System still struggling to keep my home cool. My previous unit was a 7 seer and before it died on me, it did a much better job. I want to give them 5 stars, believe me, but until my issues are resolved, they will remain at 3. If my issues continue and the attention to detail remains sub par, I will update this review to 1 star. Fingers crossed. I really want to resolve this and be done with it.EDIT (7/12/19): I'm raising this one star as they have been actively trying to resolve all issues and seem to truly care about customer service post installation. There's still some minor work left to be done and I will update accordingly, but they are moving towards resolving all outstanding issues at this point.EDIT (8/15/19): lowering my review again as I still have not received a response or follow up from the owner or technician. Tech was made aware of a bad "bearing stop" in the outside unit during last visit. Stated I would receive a callback from trane (not sure why it would be Trane). No callback from anyone. I will have to call again as the grinding has worsened and I fear this will negatively impact the unit going forward.EDIT: (8/20/19): had a tech out on 8/15/19 that argued there's nothing they can do about the grinding noise coming from the trane unit outside. I'm convinced my experience with majestic will not improve and I will no longer be using them nor would I suggest them for any ac needs. Ac installed in March of 2019 and I'm still having issues after just 6 months. Was supposed to get a call from them regarding the issue and again no call back. This company with their fancy notification settings is about all it is; fancy notification of when a combative technician will arrive to repair nothing. If and when I have any success with this company, I will update my review and hopefully add back some credibility. EDIT (8/23/19): looks like they are addressing my issues. I do want to give them a good review but results remain to be seen. I will update accordingly.read more

Today is August 14, 2019. I am writing this review after having my A/C inspected by Daniel! Daniel was personable,... honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and just down right amazing!!! He spoke with me about options as if he were talking to his daughter giving her advice! I’m glad they sent an experienced technician and not a pushy salesman. This is the third company I’ve had come out but the only one that sent someone who explained to me why I needed a new system and broke down the components of the system and what each system contributed to the efficiency of the system! He took pictures and videos of the duct work in the attic as well as the outside unit! It don’t make dollars if it don’t make sense! This is going to be an expensive and extensive fix, but thanks to Daniel I feel confident with making such a huge investment! Word to the wise DO NOT buy a 44 year old home with a 25 year old A/C unit. And don’t let an A/C company sale you a brand new $3,000.00 coil system and hook it up to broken and pierced ducts! We used Majestic to replace a Mitsubishi mini split in our garage room. From the get go these guys were absolutely... top-notch. Justin, who came out to do the analysis, was very thorough and detailed in explaining the issues to us and the proposed resolution. The two guys who came out to do the install we're also exceptionally polite and thorough and did a wonderful job and clean up. The day of the install I received an email and a text message about the crew that was coming, including pictures of them. This was very helpful in being sure that the people that showed up were actually from the company. And a couple days after the install I received an email from Mitsubishi indicating the warranty registration so Majestic took care of that as well!Top notch service! After calling the AC company who installed the AC and then not wanting to call me back. We were referred to Majestic... through a friend. I called Majestic and they showed up on time, where very helpful and knowledgeable. Helped diagnose the issue and were in there way. The AC was very polite and well mannered. I highly recommend.
